When You Start Healing Yourself, The Rest Will Fall Into Place

But then I also learned that because of pain, I can feel beauty, tenderness, and the freedom to heal. The pain feels like a quick stab in the heart. But then you feel the healing like the wind on your face when you spread your wings and fly through the air! We may not have wings coming out of our backs, but healing is the closest thing that will give us that wind against our faces.” — C.

How would you describe your relationship with yourself? Is he a kind, compassionate, nurturing person, or does he include a critical voice? It is important to understand the way we treat ourselves because it affects how we relate to others. I realize that many people have been hurt, whether it’s through childhood wounds or intimate relationships. We have all experienced pain and suffering at some point.

However, this does not mean that we carry emotional wounds Turn it around and dump it on others. While we may not have consented to the experience that caused us pain, we must heal the wounds and find our way to wholeness.

Life is not fair at the best of times, but if we are convinced by this narrative, we are bound to lose hope. It is best to see life as a process where good things happen and sometimes unfortunate things happen. I’m not convinced that life will get us out. However, in my early twenties, I was sure of it, because unpleasant experiences seemed to be punishing. It wasn’t until my early thirties that I realized that my thoughts were regulating how I interact with life.

This means that the wisdom of the years has taught me that life is unbiased and that my thinking determines my point of view. I am the tuning fork and life echoes the experience of my thoughts. Since then, I have become attentive to my surroundings and my inner world.

For example, if I’m thinking about ruminating on something negative, I’ll see evidence of this in waking life, like frequent TV ads about what I’m focusing on. I pay attention to him and get out of it quickly. Have you noticed this in your life? Do you observe your surroundings and care about your inner world like your dreams?

The point I would like to make is that healing is an inner work. It begins with feeding our thoughts on what we want to show in our lives. What we believe in on a deeper level becomes our destiny, whether we like it or not. We are not victims given the deeper meaning behind every experience that teaches us valuable lessons. I see life as one giant mirror and we are the architects and creators of our reality.

What we call a harmful experience is the universe that highlights our thoughts. I know this may sound insensitive but the universe doesn’t care what we think. The universe is in line with basic laws and when we abide by them, the conditions of our lives flow like a current. We make every experience with our thoughts. Therefore, if we want to treat the past, we must admit that nothing is an accident but rather a product of our thinking. Is this an idea you’re willing to embrace?
