We’ll explain what B Corp certification means, as well as showcase three of our most favorite B Corp natural beauty brands:
Not sure what we mean by B Corp?
B Corp is an acronym for Beneficiary Corporation. Essentially, if a brand is B Corp certified, that means it is rated as a for-profit company, using business as a force for good.
This certification is only awarded to companies that meet the highest standards Social and Environmental Accountability.
So why would you choose to buy products from the B Corp brand rather than any other brand?
B Corps is committed to building a more inclusive and sustainable economy by considering the impact of its decisions on workers, customers, suppliers, society and the environment.
Unfortunately, though, there are still plenty of companies that haven’t followed suit.
Fortunately, B Corp certification is an honorary mark and the product of exemplary efforts. So, if you get a prize, you’ll likely need to show it.
We have compiled all B Corp approved products and brands on our website to make it easier for our customers to browse.

Weleda
Weleda has literally a century of sustainable business practices behind it. Starting with their Medicinal Plant Garden in 1921, they have remained a staple of it organic Face, body, mother and baby care since then.
What you may not know is that Weleda is a trademark of B Corp; They earned the certification in their centenary year.
We are proud to stock the Weleda Group and applaud their commitment as members of B Corp.
They have reached out to the community by holding workshops and lectures on biodynamic farming and are founding members of the Organic Sunflower Seed Initiative.
Weleda view their gardens as ecosystems where biodiversity is as important as production: they assure that the more diversity in a garden, the healthier that garden will be – and everything inside.
And for their customers, this means high-quality skin and body care products.

Sustainable bars, not plastic bottles! This is the spirit behind New Zealand-based Ethique.
We’re now seeing more and more shampoo and body wash bars instead of liquids, and Ethique was among the first. Their efforts to reduce plastic waste and save the seas led to them receiving B Corp certification in 2015.
Since their birth in 2012, Ethique More than 20 million plastic bottles made and disposed of.1
No matter what your skin or hair type is, there’s a fun and fruity formula: users can meet their unique goals just like a liquid shampoo, exfoliator or cleanser. And they smell good enough to (I want to) Eat!
Ethique understands sustainability is for everyone, and thus its products range from affordable, waste-free hair, skin and body care – and even baby shampoo to smaller sustainability advocates.

Dr. Bronner
This family run business started with Dr. Emmanuel Brunner in 1948 and has been handed over ever since. Dr Bronner is best known for its Castile soap, which is free from animal fats and artificial ingredients.
They have excelled in the sustainability game since their debut, and today they can boast of packaging that is 100% recyclable, 100% biodegradable, and 33% of all profits are donated to social and environmental projects.
It’s also the brand behind All in One Initiative; Supporting organic integration, long-term equitable supply chains, youth programs, and much more.
Dr Bronner was endorsed by B Corp in 2015 and is now ranked top 10% For all approved brands.
Over the years, they have expanded their range of fragrance- and dye-free soaps.
